I LOVE THE KIDS (Sec 1/10 2001)!!!!

Feeling: missing them; venue: where else?

Sec 1/10 of year 2001. That was the year I had this lovely kids. My beloved kids, the last clas for the whole of express stream, the most humane class too. That class happened to be FULL of babes. Yes, pretty little girls. I still remember, on the very 1st day of school, I purposely wore this black "sailormoon" (nick given by Tricia) dress so as to look solemn. My intention was to traumatise them such that they wont play punk with me for the rest of the year, before I open up to them fully. This is especially important when my small petite size and constant smilingly face always makes me a "eat-able target" for students. I am very easily amused thus I laugh alot too. Feedback from a few of the kids regarding the 1st day of school back then, these are what they said:

LiYing: "Miss Hee looked very normal to me leh. Not intimidating at all."
KaiJun: "My 1st impression of you was that I thought you were an ah lian. But after getting to know you better then I know you definitely not one."
Me: "......................................."

Heheheheheh... it started off with speaking in very loud and stern no-nonsense tone. I tried real hard to not smile at all, setting my rules right with them etc. but alas, it didn't work. Coz it is just so NOT ME to be stern and fierce. Soon I was smiling away into my typical infectious huge laughter.

As the days go by, I open up more and more. I loved teasing them. I had arranged them to sit and queue up according to their register number initially. As days go by, I just changed the sitting arrangement according to their ability to stay off trouble in class. Haha!! I taught them, played games with them, I had to apologise to Christine for them, as they really were quite mean to her then. But again I also must thank them for this. Coz if i hadn't do so, I wont have her as such a close friend to me now. =) I remembered we played the really noisy game in class after exams. Everybody were making so much noise. Alvin had to do the pole dance using a broom stick!!! I really had such a great and wonderful time with them! Generally the class was very talkative and hyper. There were a few extra talkative ones in the class though.... and a few... that had left foot prints so deeply in me that, losing their friendship will equalise to losing a part of my body.

Jackson for one, is a hyperactive boy. He is SO Hyperactive! SO talkative! SO amusing! Never fail to make me laugh. Botak head boy. HAHA!! I love to rub his botak head. Loved the spiky feeling on my palm. Haha.
His good friend back then LiangHan, who takes the same M'sia *sings: Malaysiaaaaaaa, truly aaaaaaaaaasiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa* bus with him to and fro home and school, will be chatting with him non-stop.
Azim was my class AV rep then. So cute and small. He was in my NCC(Sea) too. Very committed boy. He often participate in the planning activities together with my then sec 2 kids. He also happen to have a pretty mum and handsome dad. NO kidding!!
Next we have Alvin. Alvin is a horny tall boy, my secretary for the class. The 2nd tallest in class is him. Before the class had even settled down into secondary school lifestyle, he was already influencing the rest with his Sandra Brown novels.
"What's wrong with Sandra Brown novels?" you may ask.... Well I am not being conservative, but having to influence almost the entire class's girls to read the novel that contains alot of sexual connotation at such a young tender age is just so...... = ...
Ok The tallest boy in class is JianMei. This boy is hellaluva computer genius. Man at a tender young age of 13, he already has knowledge of computer that surpassed me by light years! But again, I am an idiot at computer stuffs.... so..... hahahaha ok de truth is he is really cool at computer stuffs.
Then I have KaiJun, one of the prefect of my class. There was once when I got sooooooooooo mad at the class that I really blasted their heads off and had Alvin to pin up alllll their mistakes and to paste it on all 5 walls of the classroom. It so coincidentally that there were 5 prefects in my class and Kaijun had thought that I had 5 done up purposely to poke at the prefects. He then felt hurt and had wanted to conspire up a silent treatment with the other prefects, later to realise that it was only a misunderstanding; That I wasn't targetting the 5 prefects, but to let the entire class see. So that at every wall they turn to, they will be able to see what they had so badly. HAHAHAAH!! I love to associate this incident with him.
Next cutie I have is this china-skinned boy Yeong Cherng. He is so cute! As in, he was so short then, with red rosy cheeks. Geesh such good skin that look like those China kids. So cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. He is also a very hardworking boy. Again he is another Malaysian. Frankly speaking, I am most impressed by these Msian kids. Why? Because they travel the long distance to and fro school and home, wake up so early, had to tackle the traffic jam problem and balance the heavy insane school work and CCA too.... Aren't they just something or wad?!?!?

Next I have the lovely girls of the class. LiYing is 1 of the sweet lovely gal with shrieking high pitched tone of voice. hehehehehehh... she is sooooooooooooooooo cute!!! I love to talk to her. SO SWEET! ALWAYS MAKE ME SMILE. Her sincerity, cute smile and cute voice makes me so wanna sayang her so much!! This GOD-sent angel had touched my life, Wayyyyyyyyy deep. She is so faithful to GOD. Makes me ashamed of myself. She is my role model for loving GOD too! Well there is this lovely gal by the name of YuWei. She is one of the most mature gal that the class had. She is also talented in arts and is very creative. She is also one of the angels that had touched my life so much. Matured in thinking, she does her best in her all schoolwork. She is also very dedicated to her school councillor work and CCA, which is the school Band. She used to get teased with 1 of my NCC(Sea) boy, Benjamin, who also happen to be quite close to me. Yes they were kinda together for awhile, but alas, I guess things just don't work out the way we want.... so oftenly...
Another creative and artistic gal we have in class is Jasmine. Well she is a very cool gal. Serious. She enjoys soccer, pretty, and is very cool and stylo in her own ways. She has been with her bf since sec1 till now, still going on strong. I am very happy for her.
Lois, is this chinese dancer in my class. Her father is a pastor in one of the churches at Serangoon Road. It was such a blessing to have her around. She is such a sweet thing. She encouraged me to go back to church. I felt so touched. She also wrote those little notes of encouragement or just messages, and pass to me quite frequently. Which all of the notes are in such creative ways. I was so touched. I had NEVER thrown away any of the little slips of notes at all. The notes are ALL still with me, well kept. Heeeee *blink blink*
Gabrielle is a talented gal in the school band. Also a church goer, she has come so far. Bubbly gal, good english. I am also glad to have her in my class. Quite an encouraging gal too! I remembered the co-form teacher, Mr Yeo, will call her by her chinese name, Le Hui, and she will get so irritated and go: "Mr Yeo!! Call me Gabrielle lah. Not Le Hui!" .. hahahahaha!!!

I strongly believe that students tend to get influenced by their form teachers sub-consciously. Whatever character their form teacher is like, the class will somehow, follow suit subconsciously. Thus having a playful-cockster-lame-hyperactive form teacher like me, what will you expect out of my class? Oh you know what??
