It's Tricia's Birthday!!

It's my soulmate, Tricia's 20th brithday!!

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY GAL!! I LOVE YA!!

Tricia and I had gone waaaaayy back to year 2000!! It was such a coincident? Or issit GOD arranged? I dunno.

I had graduated from NIE and was posted to a secondary school in the North of SG to teach Home Economics and Food & Nutrition. During then, I was chatting with her then-boyfriend, JiaHao. I was pretty excited that his gf was in the same school as me! Thus I had asked him to ask her to look out for me (Hey it is easier for a student to look out for ONE new teacher, than a new teacher to look out for a student among THOUSANDS other students). I looked forward to reporting to school for work...

(yada yada time moved on...)
I was in Julin's sec4 Food&Nutrition class to learn some ropes from her (as she was going on long leave to get married etc. I was supposedly to take over her class. Eventually it was another relief teacher that took over). Little did I know that Tricia was in that class! When Tricia had 1st saw me, she didn't know that it was me though. She taught that I was Julin's ex-student who had just graduated from GCE 'A' Levels and had just returned to do relief teaching. It was only much later that she realised it was me.

(In canteen drink stall no. 1)
Tricia: "Excuse me, are you Miss Anna Hee?"
stunned me: "Yah.. why?"
Tricia: "Oh... nothing... I am Jiahao's gf.." *smiles*
Shy me: "OH...... so you are Jiahao's gf ah? HallOoOOoo... " *Hee hee....* (I wasn't quite prepared for such a scene thus I really didn't know what to say to her. Besides I was pretty shy then)

For a start we weren't close at all. I remember that there was once, I was having dinner with another relief teacher, Mr Ken Ong at Bishan Sushi. Halfway thru dinner, Tricia called me to ask questions about some past-year GCD 'N' level questions. We had a brief chat for awhile. I then mentioned to Ken about me knowing Tricia's bf and all. And he was went:

Ken: "Oh, I know which gal. Don't tell her that I am having dinner with you yah"
Curious me: "Why issit that you don't want me to let her know?"
Suspicious Ken: "Oh nothing. Just don't tell her" (puts on a charming smile. But he has forgotten that charms doesn't work on me)
Suspecting me: "Ok sure *smiles charmingly back*
(Hhmmm... He sure is behaving suspiciously. He seem to have something to hide. Never mind I will let Tricia know that I do know him)

Later on I found out from the Tricia on the reason why he did not want her to know that I got on pretty well with him. He had some dirty linen in the school. He had went steady with another sec4 gal!! OHMIGOSH. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!! And like HELLOooooOOOooo he was 29 yrs old then, and the sec4 gal was only 16yrs old!! Not only that, apparently the gal had gone depressed and rumoured that she had attempted suicide over him too! I duno what he did to the gal but it sure ain't good. I was disgusted! Geesh. My impression of him had changed totally.

(When I 1st went to the school, he was very friendly and all. Came over to chat and welcomed me to the school. Very often inviting me to lunch together, suggests for out-of-school fellowships like movies etc.. He was a pretty charming guy too. Charming looks and smiles, doesn't look like his original age but more of like 25 with a mature streak in him? Had a NUS masters degree in dunno-wad-topic)

(Yada yada blah blah blah time flies on)
I do not quite remember (neither does she) of what issit that got us closer and closer during her stay in school. We were so close that we will often sit together in school to chat and laugh. She will be doing her homework while I mark my books. But most of the time we will just be chatting away. As time went by, we got realllllllllll close.

I will like to thank GOD for putting her into my life as my soulmate. We share everything!! She is simply awesome! She is most unselfish, generous, shares everything, true to her friends etc! She was there for me through my darkest scariest times. THANK YOU FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE!!

I really pray that she and her bf, Charles, will last on and eventually go onto the red carpet. She loves him toooo much. Very often she will tell me stuffs about him, like forcing her to take meat (she is a vegetarian) and doing stuffs to her that really shouldn't be done and that it hurts her deeply. I got very mad. But I kept it down within and only expressed verbally my unhappiness. I only want her to be happy. As long as she is happy, whatever she do (NOTHING illegal and life threathening that is) I will ALWAYS support her. Thus I hope he had better not do anything that hurts her, like abusing her physically coz I will NOT tolerate it anymore!!

Dear Lord Jesus, THANK YOU for coming into my life, for saving me by YOUR GRACE, for loving me so infinitely, for bringing Joy into my life, for helping me in those trials and tribulations, comforting me when i am down, filling me up when i am empty. THANK YOU for all the blessings that you have showered into into my life in all forms and ways, the angels that you had sent into my life in all forms and relations(my family, students, #A-I frens, ncc frens, church friends, the DYSFUNKSHION peeps, my polytechnic pals and any other friends who have made a significant pact in my life). Dear Jesus, there are simply too many things for me to thank you about that i cant find the proper words to do so. But Lord, you know my heart :) Last but not least, THANK YOU FOR DYING ON THE CROSS FOR ME. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. I LOVE YOU MY LORD AND GOD. Amen.
